Refund Policy

We accept returns within 14 days, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.  If 14 days have elapsed since receiving your item, unfortunately we can not offer you a refund or exchange.

To start a return, you can contact us at hello@thequainthouse.com, items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

The customer will pay all associated  return costs including postage. If it is established  that the product is defective then we will be happy to reimburse you for postage costs, providing we are supplied with sufficient photographic evidence within 48 hours of delivery which will be used to determine the extent of damage and a dated proof of return postage from the buyer.  

Please ensure your item is returned to us in its original packaging, unused, unassembled and in a resaleable condition.

* ITEM MUST BE RETURNED IN THE STATE IT WAS PROVIDED TO YOU IN. YOU'LL ALSO NEED THE RECEIPT OR PROOF OF PURCHASE. ONEROUS FALLS ON THE CUSTOMER TO ENSURE ITEM(S) ARE SENT BACK IN ORIGINAL PACKAGING OR EQUIVALENT ACCEPTABLE PACKAGING E.G IF POLYSTYRENE/BUBBLE WRAP WAS USED TO PACKAGE AND SEND TO YOU, THEN WE EXPECT ITEM TO BE RETURNED IN POLYSTYRENE/BUBBLE WRAP AND NO FURTHER/ANY DAMAGE TO PRODUCT IS SUSTAINED TO ITEM(S). WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DEDUCT ACCORDINGLY FOR FURTHER DAMAGE SUSTAINED. REFUNDS ARE ALWAYS SUBJECT TO INSPECTION AND MARKED AGAINST ORIGINAL INVENTORY TAKEN WHEN GOODS ARE ORIGINALLY SENT OUT TO CUSTOMERS. *


Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Custom products  cannot be returned (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
